Mrs. Helen Casselberry has served in the role of school principal for 12 years and has been a member of the Messiah Lutheran congregation for 15 years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in music education from St. Olaf College (MN) and her MA Ed in school leadership and administration from Baldwin Wallace University. Following 10 years of success in music classrooms serving all ages, Mrs. Casselberry approaches every classroom and the school as a musical ensemble in which each individual contributes uniquely to the harmony of the whole.
Taking great joy in student growth, Mrs. Casselberry believes that education is a celebration of God's love for us and the talents He has invested in us. She considers education a unique ministry through which school staff may directly serve students and families while preparing them for service to God and others. She looks forward to strengthening the tradition of academic excellence and culture of Christian love established at Messiah. Helen and her husband Tim have attended Messiah Lutheran since 2007 and became members in 2008. The Casselberrys share an Olmsted Falls home with their daughter, son, and two dogs.
